Styx repeatedly accuses the left of being NIMBYist (for my non-US readers: NIMBY = not in my back yard, e.g., "Build your prison... just not near me"), and we've now seen plenty of examples of what happens when people say they're open to "migrants" (i.e., illegal aliens, not immigrants, migrants, or "undocumented workers"), than actually receive them. New York City, Chicago, Martha's Vineyard, innumerable cities in California... all these places can't stand having actual aliens bussed to their doorsteps. A bunch of shit-eating hypocrites, every last one of them. Here's Tim Pool with one of the latest instances of NIMBYism:
Oh, boo-hoo. You chumps said you wanted 'em, so here they are. And as Tim Pool points out several times, these are, at best, economic migrants looking for work (i.e., mostly men), not terrified families fleeing death and oppression back home.
