Donald Trump seems to be dominating the GOP lineup by double digits in just about every state where there's been a significant poll. Styx takes this to mean there's little to no hope for the other GOP contenders, but it's still a long way to seeing who actually gets nominated. Saying "probably Trump" isn't irrational or unreasonable, but let's not call things quite yet. That's what I say, anyway.

Trump has a lot of baggage, but he is still popular with his supporters. Unless he fucks up majorly during the primary season, he appears to be a shoo-in for the nomination. I personally think DeSantis would be a better president, but either one would be worlds better than Biden (admittedly, that's a very low bar). Whoever gets the nomination is going to have to generate enough massive support with the electorate to overcome efforts to steal another victory.
