yet another "trans people in sports" story

Tim Pool is on the case:

Pool points out that women in sports don't seem to have enough solidarity to really fight about this issue: it's only the women who are directly affected (e.g., a female runner bumped to second place by a first-place trans woman) who get upset and fight.

I've seen and heard some cynics say that women are getting what they deserve by not fighting (very similar, isn't it, to the idea that the right is as much to blame for today's America as the left because of the right's years-long passivity). Personally, I'd like to advocate against the erasure of women, but self-proclaimed feminists have failed women before, e.g, in not condemning how women are treated in some Muslim-dominated countries. Maybe women really do deserve what's happening to them. I don't know anymore.
