I wouldn't have written the final paragraph of my review of "Creed II" had the following deleted scene made it into the final cut. Like so many of the scandalized commenters reacting to the embedded video below, I had to wonder why on earth this scene got removed. Its removal makes no sense, especially given how the scene provides such a strong character moment, such a strong show-don't-tell moment, and some much-needed closure between and among the main characters. Why, guys? Why did you cut this scene out? I hope they'll make a director's cut of "Creed II" available, and I hope that that cut will include this scene.
