Not good news and also not surprising. Duterte was definitely China's bitch, but I had some hope Marcos would be his own man. This video is discouraging in that regard. The Filipino people eventually rose up against the father, so if BongBong tries to sell out to Xi and company, maybe they will throw his ass out. One can hope.
I've been expecting this kind of shit from China, and it is why I would never invest in property or a business here. When the time comes, I'm going to walk away. I won't live under Chinese rule. Of course, the way things are going might mean I have to leave Asia.
