We're looking at a bunch of semicircles, which means the "circumference" of any semicircle is (2πr)/2, or just πr.

The big semicircle has a radius of 3r.
The length of the three small semicircular arcs is therefore 3πr (3•πr).
The length of the large semicircular arc is also 3πr (3r•π).
The red and blue lengths are therefore equal.
QED.
