The implications are eerie. But not surprising. He's not running the show.

AND A NEW RULE (per this post): comments critical of Trump's lying must include criticism of Biden's or Kamala's or some prominent leftie's lying on a one-for-one basis! Failure to be balanced means your comment will not be published.
It just means he's not running his social media accounts. Is this surprising?
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder what else he's not running.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is your right to wonder, of course. But you have to admit that there is no logical connection here--a lot of famous people don't run their own social media accounts. It doesn't mean anything beyond that.
ReplyDeleteI see it as a symptom of something larger. Trump, for all his horrid misspellings, bad grammar, and childish capitalization of common nouns, obviously wrote his own tweets, apparently unedited (Covfefe!). Biden can't handle that? And Biden's use of ghost writers (of whom KJP appears to be one—d'oh!) seems to be part and parcel with the pervasive notion that he's really not steering the ship of state: his many handlers are. Maybe this is one of those right/left things where evidence gets interpreted in two radically different ways. A Scott Adams moment, if you will: two groups of people watch the same film; for one group, it's a comedy, but for the other, it's a horror movie.
