2 scoops SlimFast shakes, drunk together in the morning as breakfast (220 calories)
1 cup regular whole milk (103 calories)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (60 calories)
2 prepackaged chicken breasts (about 110 calories each)
1 Paris Baguette salad (about 240 calories)
The austerity begins.
Do you feel hungry throughout the day? If so, how do you deal with it? Back in my diet days, I'd have handful of nuts or something to ease the pangs. On your 800 calorie plan that doesn't seem possible.
ReplyDeleteMentally, there's always a desire to eat, but physically, there isn't much hunger. Yet. Check again in two weeks. Meantime, I'm looking into how to make huge, 500-calorie salads.
ReplyDeleteI finish eating my daily 800-calorie allotment by lunch, after which it's nothing but water and zero-calorie drinks. So this is essentially intermittent fasting. No snacking after lunch allowed. It is indeed miserable not to be able to grab even a handful of nuts, but the lack of food is forcing me to channel my energies into other productive activities, like my book projects.
All systems go. Austerity followed by (healthy) abundance! Fill up on low-carb vegetables if you get the munchies.
