triumph and tragedy

OK, since I'm in a confessional mood, I can say I didn't do the stairs tonight. There's the tragedy. But part of the reason why is that I experienced a triumph: I finally pooped out a payload that had been sitting in my ass since last Thursday. The cargo stank to high heaven, given that it had festered for several days, but boy, what a relief when it came out. (People who've followed me for years know I don't shy away from blogging about my intestines.) Unfortunately, I think there's more still to come out, and the situation has left me with a bit of an abdomen-ache. That's the real reason why I'm not doing the stairs.

Maybe I'll do some stairs tomorrow. We'll see.
