My right hand already looks a lot better.
When you wash off all the blood and give the hand a day or two to heal, everything looks a lot less dramatic. I'm not even wearing bandages anymore. I just have to make sure that, when I wash my hands, I'm not using overly hot water, which kind of hurts.

By this coming weekend, things are going to be a lot better.
The nice thing about starting the walk in October, this year, is that I can do that segment again in late September or early October, when it's cooler, and see the point where I tripped in the bright light of day. Maybe someone should think about painting that edge yellow.
That was quite the impact. Amazing that nothing broke. Glad you are healing fast.
