I went down to the concierge desk, and the guard on duty was a friendly one with whom I'm on good terms. He said the repair office wasn't open today (as I kind of suspected), so I should try tomorrow. Meanwhile, the leaking is happening at a faster rate than before the "repair," so I went back to my place, popped the ceiling panel (after making sure my bath towel and toilet-paper roll were both out of splash range), and let the accumulated water cascade onto my bathroom's floor. There was a lot of it. I'll probably have to perform this ablution again tonight before I go to sleep. The danger is that the water might accumulate to the point where it reaches the electric light mounted in that same ceiling panel.
I looked on YouTube for tutorials on pipe repair, but it seems I need a ton of equipment (from soldering tools to special goggles and brushes) to effect the repair correctly.
When the repair guys were here a couple days ago, I noticed, though, that the "inside" of the panel (the side facing upward, which I can't see when the panel is properly installed) is a bunch of hollow gridwork rectangles, with each rectangle about an inch deep (2.54 cm). So the water accumulates in one rectangle and spills into another. The process continues as rectangle after rectangle fills up. This is a good thing as far as the electric light is concerned: the light is located at the panel's lowest point (the panel is a bit convex, a bit bowed out, from my point of view), but the leaking water can't automatically flow down to the light. So I think I can sleep through the night without worrying about my bathroom light shorting out and causing a fire. I'll call the repair people first thing in the morning.
