Richardson writes in re: John Kerry's bad joke:
I think that Kerry probably did screw up what was a bad joke to begin with (as stated it was an insult to the troops, though). The problem, however, is that Kerry’s grades at Yale were nearly identical to Bush’s, meaning that if Kerry’s point was that Bush is an uneducated (uh, not “smart”) person getting into a mess, what does that say about himself? What does this say about all the other ‘C’ students from Ivy League schools in the upper echelons of government?
Ironically, conservatives can note the hypocrisy in that, but not pounce on Kerry for his grades w/o doing the same to Bush. But another example of the hypocrisy is enough.
