uh... Happy Pepero Day



It's come around again: November 11, or 11/11, is Pepero Day in Korea, an absolutely nonsensical, marketing-whore creation whose sole purpose is to capitalize on the physical resemblance between a Pepero stick and the Arabic numeral "1."

I think a more important day to remember would be Veterans Day-- see more on this in Andy Jackson's piece at the Marmot.
