My walk up Namsan this evening included something new: a large gate barring a descending mountain road had apparently been cut into by someone with wire clippers: the entire bottom section of the gate had been messily stripped. It really looked like an unprofessional break-in.
The hole was large enough for a couple people to slip through, but far too low and small for any vehicle. I had to chuckle: if the goal was to get people on the other side of the gate, it would have been easier simply to hop the fence and walk!
