I didn't get the one about Instapundit and a damaged screw extractor. What am I missing?
ReplyDeletePeople who read Instapundit tend to be mechanically inclined, so if you don't know what a damaged-screw extractor is, you must not be an Instapundit reader.
ReplyDeleteThis is based on the scene from "Terminator 2," in which Arnold asks the "foster mother" (actually the T-1000) how the dog "Wolfie" was. The dog was actually named Max according to young John Connor, so when the "foster mother" answered with "Wolfie's fine, dear," Arnold knew the T-1000 had already killed John's foster parents.
Ah, okay. Makes sense now. I am a daily Instapundit reader, but I'm the exception to the mechanically inclined rule. I pay people to extract my damaged screws. Although I'm often accused of having a screw loose...
