the Fetterman dare

Pennsylvania Republicans are calling out John Fetterman, who is in the hospital and rumored (just rumored) to be brain-dead, to either (1) show signs that he is alive and well or (2) resign his lieutenant governorship. Incapacity is a legitimate reason not to hold office; it isn't a cruel case of "ableism" to ask for simple proof of life and ability to function. Just let the cameras into your hospital berth, give a wave, show a copy of today's newspaper to verify the date, and Bob's your uncle. That's not so hard. As for "privacy" issues: you hold public office, buddy. The people have a right to know their fearless leader isn't a vegetable.

See here.
