Félicitations au Roi Charles III à l'occasion de son couronnement.
Congratulations to King Charles III on the occasion of his coronation. As an American, I am not the king's subject and thus do not pay homage, but I do pay respectful tribute and wish His Highness a long and prosperous reign. May he learn the lessons of his mother, ruling with dignity, benevolence, wisdom, and quiet grace.
I didn't make Coronation Chicken (which, thanks to a recipe my buddy Mike sent me, I now know to be absurdly easy to make), but I did go through with my threat to make the Andy Cooks version of chicken cordon bleu, some shots of which you see below. Andy says he eats his chicken with mustard; I went with a mushroom cream sauce.
