Trump will likely survive the rape case, too. It has the stink of the Brett Kavanaugh/Christine Blasey Ford fakery about it, and Trump is already appealing the decision, which bizarrely claimed he was not guilty of rape but was guilty of some form of assault despite there being no conclusive evidence of this. Evidence that could have absolved Trump of guilt was also not allowed to be aired. While I do think Trump is plainly an old-generation sexist, I think the New York legal system has been biased against him from the beginning, so this sort of decision was inevitable, and this case was a hit job. We live in the stupidest timeline.

I read this morning that comments he made on the case during the CNN townhall might lead to a new defamation lawsuit.
ReplyDeleteUsing the courts as a political weapon is probably the worst abuse and threat to our political process among all the recent outrages.
This wouldn't surprise me at all. Trump obsession and Trump derangement are eternal.
